In all of this, my beloved Angie Stone died in a car accident this morning. Thank you for all your music. You carried me threw some hard times. When MDs forbade me to sing for quite some time, I turned to your music and started painting you. I had not painted in years, since college and art school and painting filled the void, that not being able to sing had left me with. I gave you wings in this picture. The painting is still in my studio. Reminding me of Angie, of my resilience and of helping angels. And now you are gone. A queen has left the stage. Rest in power. You are missed greatly.
Angie Stone was a Emmy nominated recording artist, I admired her work. She was not my friend. She was the queen of RnB, one of our great singers.
